I haven't had major problems since the upgrade, but it's hard to shake the feeling that something bad could happen at any moment. Also if one tab crashed, then all of them needed to be reloaded. Mavericks improved it A LOT, but it still has its moments.

  • EDIT: As others have pointed out, Safari is much kinder to the battery than Chrome.
  • Bookmarks and Reading List are good enough.
  • Really good HTML and CSS support, sometimes better than Chrome (Safari handles background gradients much more nicely than Chrome for example).
  • It used to take random amounts of time before iOS and OSX had matching tabs in iCloud tabs, but now it's basically instantaneous.

ICloud tabs has improved a lot since its introduction.

  • Info sync between OSX and iOS is really nice.

I use Command plus arrow keys, and that's essentially instantaneous. The back and forward gestures are fine, but I find them slower than Chrome's gestures. No redundant menus and all that like Chrome. I mostly use Safari, but I take vacations in Chrome. This subreddit is not endorsed or sponsored by Apple Inc.
